The SmallRig HawkLock Quick Release Half Cage for Sony FX3 / FX30 4772 is designed for the protection of your camera, and facilitating the attachment of additional photography-related accessories. The protective device is comprised of a top plate, outfitted with a NATO-rail, and an L-shaped cage. Its modular setup enhances equipment versatility, enabling you to have tailored photographic experiences.

The NATO-rail is secured on top with a pair of 1/4"-20 screws, which can be removed to allow the installation of the original XLR top handle. The L-shaped cage, on the other hand, is held firmly with a 1/4"-20 screw on the left side and at the bottom, helping to prevent any unwanted movement and safeguarding against scratches with an additional padding.

• The in-house patented quick-release feature, termed HawkLock, incorporates the cold shoe, NATO-rail and Arca-Swiss plate.
• It can be used synergistically with HawkLock eco-accessories such as the SmallRig Top Handle 4483, the SmallRig Side Handle 4485, the SmallRig Arca-Swiss Clamp 4486, etc. enabling effortless sliding and self-locking functionalities to increase the efficiency of disassembling and assembling.
