With unified T-stop values, standardized gear positions, and the same 95mm front diameter throughout the lineup, the lenses are designed to make lens swaps fast and production workflows more efficient. Metrical focus markings support precise manual focusing, while the fast apertures create smooth bokeh and strong low-light capability.

Optical Design Made for High-End Cinematography

Each lens in the Arles series is crafted to deliver sharp, detailed images with a refined cinematic look. The optical construction is engineered to control common lens imperfections such as chromatic aberration, spherical aberration, coma, and astigmatism, helping maintain clean, high-resolution results.

The wider-angle lenses benefit from aspherical elements, including a large-diameter aspherical component, to improve clarity and reduce distortion. Low-dispersion glass is used throughout the series to help keep color fringing to a minimum.
