Full camera cage for Blackmagic PYXIS 6K

Build out your Blackmagic PYXIS 6K with a cage designed to match the camera’s shape while adding serious mounting flexibility. This modular system includes a top plate, bottom plate, side plate, and left and right side arms, giving you a secure fit and a streamlined setup for a wide range of shooting styles.

The side plate is especially versatile: it helps you switch quickly between horizontal and vertical shooting, and it can function as the base plate when the camera is mounted vertically. In that setup, the mounting points are positioned to help align the base with the lens’s optical center, while still leaving room for many common accessories.

For creators working with external recording, the integrated SSD holder makes it easy to mount supported drives directly to the cage. The side plate also includes multiple 1/4"-20 mounting points, making it suitable for everything from accessory arms to smartphone rigs for livestreaming.

Both the top and bottom plates are engineered to avoid contact with the camera’s ventilation openings, helping preserve airflow and cooling performance. The top plate works with the original PYXIS handle and includes a removable 3/8" to 1/4" thread adapter, so you can choose the grip setup that best suits your rig.
